3 killed, 2 wounded in NJ Christmas Day shooting

IRVINGTON, N.J. — Authorities say three men are dead following a Christmas morning fight at a New Jersey strip club that began when a man apparently tried to enter the bar with a gun but was stopped by a bouncer.

Two other men were wounded in the shooting at about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday at Slick’s Go Go Bar in Irvington, about 15 miles west of New York City.

Prosecutors say the three men killed include the club owner’s son, 34-year-old Pierre Clervoyant of Elizabeth, and an employee, 32-year-old Woodley Daniel of Irvington. The other man killed has not been identified but police say he appears to have been an unintended target.

The two wounded men were only identified as a 27-year-old Irvington resident and a 34-year-old East Orange resident.

No arrests were immediately made.
