Guy Fieri’s second Las Vegas restaurant is about what you’d expect

El Burro Borracho, which opened March 4 in the Rio, 3700 W. Flamingo Road, is from Food Network star (and UNLV grad) Guy Fieri.

Fieri’s second Las Vegas restaurant, El Burro Borracho — which translates to “the drunken donkey” — offers a diverse menu of Mexican-style favorites (and, of course, burgers, a Fieri specialty) and an extensive cocktail program that includes tequila flights, “brain freezes” such as the Frozen Horchata Colada, margaritas and more.

The decor is eclectic and includes art in the style of Fieri’s tattoos. Here’s a sample of the menu:

Snacks, salads and soups: Trash Can Nachos, $18; grilled street corn, $10; jalapeno poppers, $14; crispy yuca fries, $10; mango jicama crunch salad, $12; roasted chicken tortilla soup, $11; posole, $10.

Burgers: El Gringo, with Mexicana mac and cheese, bacon and crispy tortillas, $18; El Hombre, with machacha, queso, pepperjack and black beans, $19; Caliente Chorizo Loco, chorizo and ground beef blend with queso, pepperjack and pineapple and serrano salsa, $17.

Tacos (three, with beans and rice): Picadillo, $10; carne asada, $19; al pastor, $17; Lava Rock Shrimp, $17; chipotle pork and roasted corn, $17; vegetables, $15.

Enchiladas (with beans and rice): Beef Machaca, $19; chicken mole, $18; cheese and onion, $17.

Burritos and chimichangas: Picadillo, $20; achiote chicken, $20; pork chile verde, $18.

Fajitas: Chicken and shrimp, $21; carne asada and chicken, $22; chicken, $19; shrimp, $23.
