Las Vegas restaurants with Cinco de Mayo specials

Numerous Las Vegas-area restaurants and bars are offering food and drink specials for the Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo, which is Thursday.

The following is not intended as a complete listing. Unless otherwise noted, the specials listed are available only on Thursday, May 5. And note that many of those businesses listed, as well as others in the area, will feature mariachi bands and other live entertainment to celebrate the holiday.

Bally’s: Sully’s Bar and Indigo Lounge, $25 buckets of Corona, Modelo or Dos Equis; $12 Patron cocktails.

Beer Park, Paris Las Vegas: Two-for-one Hornitos tequila specials and two-for-one Montejo beer; Chile Verde Nachos and Carne Asada.

Cabo Wabo, Miracle Mile Shops: Cabo flight, $21; Mango Picante Margarita, with jalapeno, mango, Cabo Wabo blanco tequila, triple sec and sweet and sour, $14.

Caesars Palace: Spanish Steps, $8.50 Corona or Modelo (bucket, $36); $14 El Jimador margaritas. La Gloria,

buy one, get one half-off El Jimador, Jack Daniel’s, Herradura, Bacardi, Skyy or Captain Morgan, five Coronitas for $25, $10 Corona’Ritas.

Cantina Laredo, Tivoli Village: Food and drink specials Thursday, Friday and Saturday including Verde Infusion Rita, cucumber-infused with Montelobos Mezcal and Milagro Silver, $12; Cinco Rita, with Silver Cabo Wabo, Hornitos, Cazadores, Herradura, Giro and Cointreau, $11.50. Family fiesta with pony rides and petting zoo on Saturday.

Carlos ‘n Charlie’s, Flamingo: $5 shots of El Jimador, 9 a.m. to closing; $5 bloody marys, mimosas and frozen margaritas, 9 a.m. to noon; two-for-one frozen margaritas and Bud Light drafts, 2 to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to closing.

China Poblano, Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas: Braised pork cheek tacos with crispy pig ears, $7; braised lamb taco, $7; braised brisket taco, $7; baked potato taco, $5; sweet potato flan with apple sorbet, $8; La Rosa Ponche, with tequila blanco, grapefruit, raspberry, elderflower and Mexican beer, $17 by the glass, $85 by the pitcher; Sagrado Corazon, with tequila blanco, lime, agave syrup and hibiscus ice, $16; Don Julio Ultima Flight, $28.

Downtown Container Park: Cinco de Mayo Fiesta with $1 tacos at Pinches Tacos from 4 to 5 p.m.

El Cortez: Free chips and salsa and drink specials including $5 Patron shots and margaritas at all casino bars.
