North Las Vegas holds Grooves, Brews and ‘Que festival

North Las Vegas City Hall was the place to be Saturday night if you had a hankering for some brews, blues and barbecue, not to mention R&B, jazz and soul performances and a fireworks show. Performers at Grooves, Brews and ‘Que, the second concert of the city’s 2016 Tastes, Tunes & ‘Toons Series, took to the stage on the steps of city hall in the early evening, as community members kicked back on chairs and blankets, while enjoying barbecue dishes, beer and other refreshments for sale. The event is a partnership of the City of North Las Vegas, Amerigroup, North Vista Hospital and Republic Services.
