73-year-old man dies in traffic accident

A 73-year-old man died Tuesday morning in a traffic collision on Lamb Boulevard at Manor Green Lane.

Police said the crash occurred about 8 a.m. when the man tried to turn his PT Cruiser from Manor Green onto northbound Lamb, near Charleston Boulevard.

A Nissan driven by 48-year-old Isaac Kenolio was traveling south on Lamb and struck the PT Cruiser, police said.

Both drivers were taken to University Medical Center where the older man was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released. Kenolio suffered moderate injuries, police said. The crash is under investigation.
