Beaten homeless man found unconscious

A man remains in “extremely critical” condition, Las Vegas police said Thursday, after they found him beaten and unconscious in an alley more than two weeks ago.

Police responded to a call in the 2200 block of North Jones Boulevard about 6:45 a.m. Jan. 7 and found the man suffering from blunt force trauma.

The man was taken to University Medical Center where he remains unresponsive, police said.

Investigators believe the man is homeless, and identified him only as “John.” Police don’t know what happened to him.

Anyone with information can call Las Vegas police at 702-828-5634 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555. You can also go to www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
