Chester Stiles gets into a prison scuffle

A Nevada corrections official said a Las Vegas man serving the rest of his life in prison for videotaping himself sexually assaulting a 2-year-old girl was involved in a fight with another inmate.

Nevada prisons spokeswoman Suzanne Pardee termed the Wednesday scuffle involving 38-year-old Chester Arthur Stiles at Lovelock Correctional Center a minor altercation.

Pardee said there were no serious injuries and no one needed hospital treatment. She declined to provide details.

Stiles was sentenced in May to 21 terms of life in prison in the 2003 videotaped assault and a separate sexual assault of a 6-year-old girl.

Stiles became the focus of a nationwide manhunt in 2007 after the graphic video was discovered in the Nevada desert.
