Henderson fire injures one person, damages eight units

Eight units at the Mission Ridge condominiums were damaged and one person sustained smoke inhalation during a Monday afternoon blaze, the Henderson Fire Department said.

Battalion Chief Jeff Lytle said the fire occurred about 4:25 p.m. at 700 Carnegie St., south of Green Valley Ranch.

One person was hospitalized with smoke inhalation. Lytle did not have an estimate for the monetary damage the fire caused.

The investigation was ongoing Monday night.
