Las Vegas police investigate road rage shooting death

Las Vegas police are investigating a road rage killing in the northwest part of the valley that happened early Saturday morning.

One person was shot and killed around 1:45 a.m. at 6885 W. Lone Mountain Road near U.S. Highway 95 and Santa Fe Station, police said. They received reports of a man lying in the road and upon arrival, officers discovered him deceased with gunshot wounds.

According to witnesses, the suspect fired multiple shots from a dark colored vehicle at the victim, who was also in his vehicle.

The victim’s identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.

The homicide unit is handling the investigation.
