A man found shot to death in a parking garage at the Silverton Casino was identified Friday.

Jose Antonio Mollinedo, of Victorville, Calif., died from a gunshot wound to the head. The 19-year-old's death was ruled a homicide.

A casino employee at the property off Interstate 15 and Blue Diamond Road found the victim about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday on the fifth-floor ramp of the garage.

Lt. Lew Roberts said police were unsure of the time the shooting occurred. Investigators are looking through surveillance video for more information. As of Friday morning, an update in the investigation was not available.

Authorities said Mollinedo was not a Silverton employee.
