Police discover man’s body in south Las Vegas

A man was found dead in the south Las Vegas desert Monday night, Las Vegas police said.

Police responded to calls of gunshots heard near the intersection of La Cienega Street and Neal Avenue, near St. Rose Parkway and Las Vegas Boulevard, just before 7:30 p.m.

Arriving officers found the body of a man with gunshot wounds in the desert near the intersection, police said.

No arrests were made as of late Monday night.
