Police warn Enterprise residents of spike in burglaries

A recent spike in car burglaries has police urging people in the Enterprise area to take caution.

Leaving car doors unlocked has left people vulnerable to theft in the Southern Highlands, Mountains Edge and Rhodes Ranch.

The Enterprise property crimes section has adopted the phrase “Lock, take and hide.” Lock your doors, take your keys and hide your belongings.

Suspects have taken valuable items and even loose change in the seats, said police.

Residents can contact their local area command for more information about the burglaries.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents can contact the property crimes section at 702-828-1686. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
