Southwest valley stabbing injures 2 people

Las Vegas police are investigating a double stabbing in the southwest valley that sent two people to the hospital on Friday.

Police responded to the 6300 block of Tropicana Avenue, near Torrey Pines Drive, about 2 p.m.

Officers were still investigating the scene about 3:30 p.m.

One person was taken to University Medical Center’s trauma unit. Another was taken to Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center with injuries that did not appear life threatening, a Metro spokesman said.

Police do not yet have anyone in custody in connection with crime.
