Tropicana closed at Decatur after vehicle strikes, kills pedestrian

A pedestrian died after being hit by vehicle near Tropicana Avenue and Decatur Boulevard Thursday afternoon.

The fatal crash occurred just before 2:30 p.m., according to Las Vegas police.

The pedestrian was transported to University Medical Center where they died.

Police have closed westbound Tropicana Avenue near the intersection while they investigate the crash.
