Two charged with sexual assault, abuse of minor

Two people were arrested Monday and charged with child abuse and sexual assault of a victim under 14, according to Las Vegas police.

Kenny Head, 47, was a corrections officer at High Desert State Prison as of 2009. His current employment has not been verified.

Head was being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail on three counts of sexual assault of a victim under 14, six counts of lewdness with a minor under 14 and three counts of child abuse.

Tamela Ann Wolfley, 40, was charged with one count of sexual assault, three counts of lewdness and three counts of child abuse.

A preliminary hearing will be held on Sept. 16.
