Two men stabbed on Strip; one in critical condition

Two men were stabbed inside a Strip walkway Saturday night.

Both were sent to University Medical Center, one in critical condition, the other with non-life threatening injuries, Las Vegas police said.

A male suspect was arrested in connection with the stabbings, which occurred inside the walkway that connects the Excalibur and the Luxor, said police Lt. Ken Romane, a watch commander.

“We’re still trying to figure out why this happened,” Romane said. “All we know is that several subjects were involved, one was taken into custody and we’re not looking for anybody else.”

Police got the call at 7:49 p.m.

The names and ages of the men were not immediately released.
