Warrant issued for man wanted in stabbing at hookah lounge

A warrant has been issued for a man suspected in a stabbing death at a hookah lounge earlier this month.

Eddy Rodriguez, 36, is wanted on the charge of murder with a deadly weapon in the death of Frank Almenares, 49.

The incident happened about 4 a.m. on Aug. 13 at a hookah lounge in the 6800 block of Spring Mountain Road, near Rainbow Boulevard, Las Vegas police said.

Police said Rodriguez stabbed Almenares several times in the chest for dancing with Rodriguez's ex-girlfriend.

Rodriguez is Hispanic, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 200 pounds.
