District Attorney Wolfson files to keep his seat

Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson is officially running to keep his seat.

Wolfson, who announced his election campaign in October, filed the paperwork with the county’s election department Monday, the first day of candidate filing.

The election filing period ends March 14.

Wolfson’s war chest has more than $750,000 in cash and an endorsement from the Las Vegas Police Protective Association, the valley’s largest police union.

Wolfson was appointed by the County Commission in January 2012 after David Roger resigned.
