The Department of Motor Vehicles is celebrating Nevada’s 150th anniversary with special license plates.
The plates, with embossed lettering, will be available for a limited time. A portion of each sale will go toward the sesquicentennial celebration.
“The DMV is proud to help all Nevadans celebrate our 150th anniversary,” said DMV Director Troy Dillard in a news release. “These plates are one way nearly everyone can show pride in their state and celebrate an important milestone.”
A set of plates with standard numbering costs $33.50. If you are swapping out an existing set of plates, there is an added $5 fee. Personal plates can be ordered for $68.50.
