PAHRUMP — Former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss is in trouble again.
She was arrested in Nye County after police said they caught her driving under the influence of marijuana early Tuesday morning, just two days before a scheduled court appearance on charges related to a marijuana grow operation discovered at her Pahrump home earlier this year.
Fleiss was taken into custody around 3:30 a.m. on charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance, DUI drugs, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of greater than 1 ounce of marijuana, driving without a license, driving with suspended registration and driving with no insurance.
According to the Nye County Sheriff’s Office, officers pulled over Fleiss, who was driving a 2010 Toyota Cruiser on state Route 160. During a search, they found about 4 ounces of marijuana and $10,000 in cash, which was seized.
Police conducted a series of field sobriety tests with Fleiss at which time it was determined she was under the influence of marijuana.
Fleiss was booked into the Nye County Detention Center following her arrest and her bail was set at $22,233. She was scheduled to appear in Pahrump Justice Court later Tuesday.
