3 teens face charges as adults in home invasion, sex assault

Three teenagers face charges as adults after home invasion and sexual assault in the southwest valley, according to Las Vegas police.

Police were called about 10 p.m. Jan. 19 to a home in the 9200 block of Weeping Hollow Avenue, south of the intersection of Blue Diamond Road and El Capitan Way, to investigate a report of a home invasion, robbery and sexual assault. Additional details on the crimes were not immediately available.

Qumaire Rainey, 18; Edward London, 17; and Casey Franks, 16, have been arrested and police will push for them to be charged as adults, according to a Metro news release.

North Las Vegas police assisted in the investigation that led to the arrest of the three suspects, police said.

The attack remains under investigation.
