Airplane crashes in Henderson

A single-engine plane crashed Sunday afternoon at the Henderson Executive Airport.

The Cessna crashed roughly a quarter-mile south of the airport at 3:58 p.m., Christine Crews, spokeswoman for the Clark County Department of Aviation, said.

The plane did not catch fire upon impact, Crews said, and no injuries were reported.

The Henderson Fire Department responded to the scene. Calls to the Fire Department were not immediately returned.
