Arizona motorcyclist dies after accident

KINGMAN, Ariz. — A man involved in an Oct. 7 motorcycle accident in northwest Arizona died of his injuries at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as John Edwards Rogers, 51, Mohave Valley.

Agency spokeswoman Trish Carter said Rogers lost control of the Harley Davidson motorcycle he was operating in the 1100 block of Aztec Road in Fort Mohave at 10:48 p.m. “Investigations determined that Rogers drove off the paved portion of the road and into soft dirt causing him to lose control,” Carter said.

Autopsy results are pending and an investigation continues.
