Brush fire closes northbound I-15 for two hours Thursday

A brush fire shut down northbound Interstate 15 in California near the Palmdale Road offramp for about two hours on Thursday.
California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a small brush fire near the onramp near Victorville at 3:46 p.m. By 4:25 p.m., the fire had spread, and troopers closed the Palmdale ramp and all four lanes of northbound I-15.
As of 6:45 p.m. two lanes had been reopened.
