The Clark County coroner’s office has identified the child who drowned Wednesday night in the southwest valley.
Esey Asmelash, 7, of Las Vegas, was found in the 5600 block of Artesia Lake Court, near Russell Road and Jones Boulevard, where officers were called about 6:15 p.m. He was taken to University Medical Center where he died.
