Coroner names man hit and killed trying to catch bus

A man who was hit and killed rushing to catch his bus Sunday morning in North Las Vegas was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner's office.
He is 43-year-old Gabriel Manuel Mannino of North Las Vegas, the coroner's office said.
Mannino had just gotten off a bus and was crossing Camino Al Norte, near Lone Mountain Road, outside a crosswalk when he was hit by a car traveling north, North Las Vegas police said Sunday.
Mannino was taken to University Medical Center where he died, police said.
The car's 18-year-old driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
