Coroner rules man found dead in car died of natural causes
The man found dead in a car in early August died of natural causes, the Clark County coroner’s office said.
Sigifredo Alarcon Fragoso, a 79-year-old Las Vegas resident, was found dead in a 2011 Nissan Altima on Moccasin Road, about one-half mile west of Homestead Road, about 6:30 p.m. Aug. 1, police said.
The coroner’s office said Fragoso died of natural causes related to a heart condition.
Police said that evidence at the scene indicated the vehicle was heading west on Moccasin Road through the desert and encountered rough terrain. Both front wheels of the vehicle were damaged and the vehicle was rendered disabled, police said.
It is unknown when the incident happened.
