Dust advisory issued for Las Vegas Valley

The Clark County Department of Air Quality and Environmental Management has issued a dust advisory through Wednesday night.

The agency is sending notices to construction sites in the Las Vegas Valley and outlying areas encouraging precautions to prevent blowing dust.

Airborne dust aggravates respiratory diseases such as bronchitis and asthma.

Unhealthy levels of dust were not occurring.

Officials are monitoring conditions and will update the forecast as necessary.
