Dust advisory issued for Monday afternoon, night

Clark County officials issued a dust advisory for the Las Vegas Valley for Monday afternoon through the night because of expected high winds.

The advisory from the air quality department warns residents and construction companies of the possibility of blowing dust and potentially unhealthy air.

Airborne dust aggravates respiratory diseases. Children, the elderly and people with respiratory diseases are urged to stay indoors.
