Fire in Laughlin displaces three people, one dog

A fire in Laughlin displaced two adults, one child and a dog Wednesday afternoon, the Clark County Fire Department said.

In a statement, the department said firefighters responded to the report of a fire on Wednesday about 3;40 p.m., at 2904 Biscaya Drive in Laughlin.

Upon arrival, personnel reported a single family home with large amounts of smoke and flame coming from the garage. Crews attacked and knocked down the fire about 4 p.m., the release said.

Red Cross is assisting the displaced people and dog. No injuries were reported.

Damages have not been estimated and the fire is under investigation, the statement said.
