A longtime Greenspun Media Group executive is leaving the company to join Vegas PBS.
Bruce Spotleson was the general manager for the now-defunct KTUD, a Greenspun-owned independent television station that ceased broadcasting on Oct. 11. He will be the new director of corporate partnerships at the public television station.
“I’m really proud to join Vegas PBS, which connects with viewers on so many levels and in such unique and innovative ways,” said Spotleson, who is the 2014 chairman-elect of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce. “It’s exciting to be part of a successful organization, but especially one so clearly dedicated to making our community stronger.”
Spotleson joined the Greenspun Media Group in 1998, working in several capacities for the company including publisher, editor and general manager, and was a founding executive for Las Vegas Weekly and In Business Las Vegas, which is now VEGAS Inc.
