Man fatally shot at North Las Vegas apartment complex

A man died after being shot early Thursday in an apartment complex in North Las Vegas, according to a release by North Las Vegas police.

Police were called shortly after midnight to the 2100 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard near Lake Mead Boulevard and found a 20-year old man lying on the ground and unresponsive.

He was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

The Clark County coroner’s office will perform the autopsy and release his identification after notifying next of kin.

Nobody has been taken into custody, and police have yet to release information about the shooter’s identity.

North Las Vegas police ask for the public’s help in finding additional information about this crime.
