Man who died in Saturday car accident identified

The man who died following a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Francisco Iovino, 50, of Las Vegas, was driving north on Dean Martin Drive, south of Irvine Avenue, in a 2004 Ford F150. His truck ran off the east side of the road across the sidewalk and lawn, coming to rest against a wall of a house at 3:45 p.m., according to police.

Iovino was sent to St. Rose Hospital where he later died, police said.

The cause of death has not been released and Las Vegas police said that it would not count as a traffic-related death until the manner of death is determined by the coroner’s office.
