Man’s body found near Las Vegas cemetery

A man's body was found by a construction worker near a central valley cemetery early Wednesday morning, Las Vegas police said.

It happened near the intersection of Owens Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard, across the street from Woodlawn Cemetery.

Few details were immediately available, but police are investigating his death as a homicide, officer Michael Rodriguez said.
