A truck struck a lightpole on a northeast valley road Tuesday morning and is blocking traffic.
Las Vegas police responded shortly after 6 a.m. to the crash on North Decatur Boulevard, near Whispering Sands Drive. The truck struck the lightpole, which then fell onto the truck.
Decatur was still closed in both directions at Indigo Gorge Avenue, north of Whispering Sands, just before 9 a.m. Drivers were being redirected through the neighborhood.
Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, police said.
