Man sought in home invasion, peeping cases

Authorities are seeking a 32-year-old man in connection with home invasion attempts and peeping Tom incidents in the north valley, North Las Vegas police said Wednesday.

Police said Abrawein Percy is wanted for questioning in four peeping cases and two home invasion attempts in the areas of Decatur Boulevard and Tropical Parkway and El Campo Grande Avenue and Simmons Street.

North Las Vegas police said Percy is wanted by Las Vegas police in connection with one count of surreptitious peeping with a recording device. North Las Vegas police said Percy became a suspect in September. Police said in each of the cases, a suspect entered a backyard and then watched women through uncovered windows. In two of those instances, the suspect attempted to break in by prying open a sliding glass door.

Percy is believed to drive a white Hyundai Sonata with Nevada license plate 937 VEY.

Police said he is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has "Shydell" tattooed on his upper left arm.

Anyone with information about Percy's whereabouts is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 385-5555.
