A Bullhead City, Ariz., man who pled guilty to second-degree murder in the death of a house guest was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday.
Jade Tracy, 23, was intoxicated when he initiated the September 2012 beating of Michael Clark, 50, after Clark argued with Tracy’s stepmother.
Attorneys also agree that Tracy’s father and another co-defendant participated in the beating before Clark was loaded into the back of a pickup truck.
Tracy drove Clark to an area close to Clark’s neighborhood before accelerating the vehicle and stomping on the brakes to deliberately eject the victim to the pavement, prosecutor Jace Zack said.
Clark was flown to a Las Vegas hospital, where he died from various injuries.
