Nevada woman among 4 killed in head-on crash in Arizona

Four people died late Tuesday on U.S. Highway 93 in Arizona when a vehicle driven by a Nevada woman slammed head-on into another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.

The state Department of Public Safety said the accident occurred just before midnight about 25 miles northwest of Wickenburg, which is approximately 130 miles southeast of Kingman.

The department said that 58-year-old Debra Jean Johnson of Fernley, Nevada, died at the scene when the 2005 Volkswagen sedan she was driving northbound crossed into the southbound traffic and collided with a Honda Accord.

The three people in the Honda also were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was identified as Keayona Marie Horn, 36, of Fontana, California. The names of the passengers who were killed were withheld pending notification of kin.

The crash remains under investigation.
