DRESS FOR SUCCESS CLOTHING SALE TO BENEFIT SOUTHERN NEVADA WOMEN

A Dress for Success Southern Nevada clothing sale is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at the SpringHill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center, 2989 Paradise Road.

The sale is also scheduled during a happy hour event from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 1, including a silent auction.

The sale offers designer clothing and professional attire at reduced prices, starting at $2. The proceeds are set to benefit Dress for Success Southern Nevada programs supporting disadvantaged women in the valley who are seeking employment.

NATHAN ADELSON HOSPICE PLANS GRIEF RECOVERY PROGRAM

Nathan Adelson Hospice is set to host a seven-week grief recovery outreach program from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Oct. 30 at the Nathan Adelson Hospice Center for Compassionate Care, 4131 Swenson St.

The program is for people experiencing grief and loss due to major life changes ranging from the death of a loved one to a divorce or financial hardship.

The cost of the program is $133 and includes a grief workbook.
