Police: Argument led to fatal stabbing in North Las Vegas

The man stabbed to death in North Las Vegas Monday has been identified.

Guillermo Enrique Coletti, 54, was found dead by North Las Vegas police in an apartment closet on 2432 Webster St.

Officers found blood drops throughout the apartment and a knife in the refrigerator that appeared to have blood on it, according to the arrest report for William Robinson, who has been arrested on a murder charge.

Multiple witnesses identified Robinson after hearing a description from police officers, police said.

Robinson was arrested Tuesday in his apartment near Bruce Street and Carey Avenue. When questioned, Robinson told police he and Coletti got into an argument after Coletti asked him for sex. Robinson said he picked up the knife but denied stabbing Coletti with it, according to the arrest report.

The Clark County coroner’s office said Coletti died from multiple stab wounds.
