Police arrest man in May burglary at Planet Hollywood theater

Las Vegas police arrested a 62-year-old man Wednesday in connection with a May burglary at the V Theater in the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood.

Robert Kresler of Las Vegas was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and is facing charges of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, grand larceny, possession of burglary tools, and destroying or injuring the property of another, police said on Thursday.

At about 9 a.m. on May 26, patrol officers were dispatched to the V Theater to investigate after employees reported a burglary in a cash room inside the theater.

Detectives with Metro’s tourist crimes unit arrested Kresler in connection with the crime, but they still are seeking a woman they also suspect was involved.
