A single-car rollover that injured the two car occupants happened just before 6 a.m. Pedestrian Charles Eugene Muller tried to cross the highway to help, but was struck by a Honda Element as he crossed the road, police said.

Muller, 72 and a Laughlin resident, was airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The driver of the Honda remained at the scene. The accidents are still under investigation.
