I-15 shut down due to high-speed chase investigation

Interstate 15 is shut down while Las Vegas Police investigate a high-speed chase that ended near Sahara Avenue.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Trooper Loy Hixson, southbound traffic is being diverted to the Sahara Avenue off-ramp. Drivers can then re-enter the highway almost immediately at the Sahara Avenue on-ramp.

Hixson said that no time table had been set for when the freeway will be reopened.
