Caesars done with Ogden restaurant

Confirming rumors that have been circulating in the chef community for months, Caesars Palace is ending its 10-year tenant relationship with Bradley Ogden restaurant.

The last day will be Aug. 5 after dinner service.

The joint announcement comes weeks after reports that a Gordon Ramsay gastropub was in the plans for the space.

Ramsay dodged the hot-potato question at a news conference before the opening of Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas.

In the joint statement, Ogden said his restaurant has been "a true labor of love" for wife Jody, son Bryan and himself.

Michael Dellar, co-founder, president and CEO of the 14-restaurant San Francisco-based Lark Creek Restaurant group that included Ogden's, said the company "continues to be enthusiastic" about the Las Vegas market and is reviewing other opportunities to develop a new Bradley Ogden culinary influenced restaurant in the area.
