THE SCENE AND HEARD
It's lame enough that Jon Gosselin of the reality show "Jon and Kate Plus Eight" is actually getting paid to "host" Saturday at Wet Republic, the MGM Grand pool venue. Now comes word that Gosselin, who is coming in with his mother plus a black eye and stitches, expects the media to pay him to talk. We'll get back to you right away on that. ...
But nobody comes close to The Sperminator, aka Kevin Federline, when it comes to our celebrity Hall of Lame, in the cheapskate category. Last month while partying at Wasted Space at the Hard Rock Hotel, K-Fed skipped out on a tip -- after all his booze was comped. He got a lot of grief for it, but not enough to cough up any of his, ahem, hard-earned cash. VH1, the music channel, did it for him. Two checks from VH1 for $50 each were handed over to the two female cocktailers who served Federline and his group. Written in the lower left space was: "tip for KFed and entourage."

Joan Rivers, rushing through McCarran International Airport on Thursday. When a tourist hollered out, "Got a show?" she responded with a "Yes! At the Venetian." Then, with a theatrical yawn, added, "In two hours!" ... Playboy model Amanda Duncan, scurrying off the V Theater stage (Planet Hollywood Resort) Wednesday night.
