Hilton hitched? Don't bet on it

For a few minutes there, it sounded like Paris Hilton had pulled a Britney.

Rumors were flying that Hilton had rushed to the altar for a surprise wedding in Las Vegas.

But it was all a stunt for Piers Morgan's documentary on Sin City's wedding industry.

Hilton, who recently reunited with beau Doug Reinhardt, and Morgan were "hitched" at the Little Church of the West on Sunday afternoon.

The chapel was the site of another famous mock wedding: Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret tied the knot for the 1964 film "Viva Las Vegas."

Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton were married there in 2000. Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford surprised everyone in 1991. Other celeb weddings there included David Cassidy, Judy Garland, Dudley Moore, Buck Owens and Mickey Rooney -- many times. OK, we kid.

One of the true surprises of the Michael Jackson benefit tribute on Saturday at the Palms' Pearl was the male dance duo known as Signature.

Surprising to the local crowd, that is. They're no secret in the U.K., not after making the finals of "Britain's Got Talent" last year.

The star is lawyer-in-training Suleman Mirza, who brings down the house with his sensational Jackson moves.

If they were to add some minutes to their act, they could be opening for headliners immediately in Las Vegas except for one big problem: Who would want to follow their act? Mirza's moves are that magical.

So was 11-year-old Elijah Johnson of "The Lion King" with his song-and-dance routine to "Dancing Machine."

With the air heavy with King of Pop nostalgia, no one experienced deja vu more than Imperial Palace headliners Human Nature. They opened for Jackson 12 years ago on his 39th birthday.

Co-producers Erich Bergen and Steve Friess did an amazing job of recruiting all that talent and putting together a tribute show that raised $100,000-plus for music education programs.

It was a big night for N9NE Steakhouse chef Barry Dakake, a sports fanatic: Feller, 90, spent three hours in the kitchen Saturday enjoying a 12-course tasting menu at the chef's table with a friend while Bonds' preteen daughter Aisha hung out in kitchen in a chef jacket and delivered a dessert platter to her dad.
