In 1946, she married John McNamee, an attorney and member of the Leo A. McNamee family, early Las Vegas settlers. John McNamee died in 1977. Ann was a member of the Service League of Las Vegas and a Junior League Sustainer. As a founding member of the Clark County Attorneys' Wives, she instituted the Home Tour, which became the organization's annual fund raiser for many years. In 1967, she joined Planned Parenthood of Southern Nevada and served on the Board of Directors for many years. She later served for 18 months as foreperson of the Federal Grand Jury. She was employed for several years at the Southwest Gas Corporation as a secretary to the vice president. After retirement, she became a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, where she served for 16 years. Two brothers, Owen Rittenhouse and Franklin "Pete" Rittenhouse, a partner in the law firm of McNamee, McNamee and Rittenhouse, preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann's memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
