PONCE, ALBERT
ALBERT PONCE Albert Joseph Ponce, 38, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008. He was born Feb. 16, 1969, in Canada, and had lived in Las Vegas for the past eight years. He grew up in Austin, Texas, and graduated from Austin High School. He was a free-lance audio technician, a graduate of the University of Texas with a bachelor's degree in radio, television/ film. Albert worked on many reality television productions in Las Vegas and around the country, including the coverage of the Coast Guard rescue missions in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. He was the kindest person and will be missed professionally and personally by many. Albert is survived by his father, Pacifico Ponce, mother, Ruby Aganon; aunts, Ingrid Aganon, Sandra Aganon and Beth Ponce; uncles, Jose Ponce Jr. and Rock Aganon; his stepmother, Ofelia Datoc Ponce; stepsister, Jaybelle Escalante; as well as, many friends. Viewing will be from 3-5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, with services following until 6 p.m., both at Desert Memorial, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
