ROGERS, TAYLOR
TAYLOR ROGERS Taylor Clifford Rogers, 26, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008, in Las Vegas. Known as "TC," he was a spa operations manager at the Green Valley Ranch Resort. He is survived by his parents, Clifford G. and Rebecca Laidlaw Rogers; brothers, Allan D. Rogers (Laurie) and Lincoln S. Rogers (Cecilia); and sister, Kelsey Marie Rogers. TC was born Oct. 15, 1981, in St. George, Utah, but lived his entire life in Las Vegas. He graduated from Cimarron-Memorial High School in 2000 and received the Millennium Scholarship. He graduated from UNLV's College of Business in 2006. TC was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a member of the Centennial Hills Young Single Adult Ward, where he served in the Elders Quorum Presidency. TC was valiant, hardworking, genuine, and known for his contagious smile. Fun-loving and tender-hearted, he made friends wherever he went – at school, church and work. He was loved and admired by a large extended family, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and dozens of cousins. TC was greatly loved and adored by his niece, Sarah, and nephew, Luke. They will miss the "blankie game" and his daily visits. While a full-time student at UNLV, TC worked his way up to spa operations manager of the J.W. Marriott Resort. TC enjoyed bicycling, renovating houses, and giving service in the community. TC died as the result of a minor accident, providing a gentle way for our loving Father to take him home. The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the caring and compassionate professionals of the UMC Trauma Intensive Care Unit. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 18. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, both at the North Jones and Dorrell chapel, 6051 Dorrell Lane. Burial will be at Palm Memorial Park, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Donations may be made to the Missionary Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
