KINTNER, JONATHAN

JONATHAN KINTNER Jonathan Kintner, 27, of Las Vegas, passed away May 10, 2008. He was born Sept. 5, 1980, in Provo, Utah, and was a resident of Las Vegas for the past 19 years. Jon was a 1999 graduate of Green Valley High School, and a 2008 graduate of the University of Phoenix, earning a bachelor of science in information technology. He was a Certified Cisco Network Professional and was employed by Sierra Health Services as a network engineer. He was married in 2007 to Maria Kintner, and gladly received the gift of fatherhood in his 19-month-old daughter, Weslee, and eight-year-old stepdaughter, Aurora Weissbord. Jon was a strong 2nd Amendment supporter and loved to fire a few rounds on his XDs when he had the chance. He loved his girls, trucks, computers and guns. He loved music ("anything but country!"), and enjoyed attending concerts with his wife. Jon was a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan, and happily celebrated both their World Series victories. He never missed a UFC match, and followed the sport avidly. Jon went home to be with the Lord painlessly, and was an organ donor. He was preceded in death by his father, David Kintner; and his best friend, David Henry Chadburn. Jon is survived by his loving wife, Maria; his daughters, Weslee Kintner and Aurora Weissbord; his mother, Jeanie Kintner, and stepfather, Dave Warner; his brother, Mikal Kintner; mother-in-law, Michaelina Bellamy; and numerous nieces, nephews and thousands of friends. Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, May 17. The funeral will be at noon Sunday, May 18, both at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. (at I-215). Graveside services will follow. Burial will be private. Donations can be made to the Jon Kintner Memorial Fund - Bank of America, Acct. #5010 0502 0885.
